This is a DVD ISO designed by Terry Hancock, using a collection of animated videos by Nina Paley (already available separately on Internet Archive: http://www.archive.org/details/NinaVision).
There is a tutorial at Free Software Magazine ( http://fsmsh.com/3267 ) which describes in detail how this DVD was mastered, using QDVDAuthor.
As of the first upload, there are still a few issues with this master, specifically:
1) Poor video quality on the "Copying Is Not Theft" and the trailer for "Sita Sings The Blues". These resulted in some transcoding artifacts. I am currently looking for better originals to work from.
2) The menuloop is not quite edited correctly, so it "jumps" at the end of the loop (this is not very objectionable as the loop is long anyway).
However, the DVD is quite usable, and the main program animations don't have any problems that I have noticed.
I am also planning to upload the additional source media needed (menu images and video loops, etc) to follow the DVD mastering tutorial (and replicate or improve on this ISO). I'm not sure I can provide "full source", because it's not clear that it is portable (I think QDVDAuthor uses absolute links to find media files).
ninavision_menuloop_v3.mpeg is an improved menu loop for the DVD's main menu (fixed the editing problem mentioned above, and it is slightly shorter).
ninavision_menuloop_mod_quiet.ogg is replacement audio for the loop above, with several minor edits -- the level has been equalized between the different clips, a fade-in and fade-out have been added at the beginning and end to smooth out the transition during playback (many DVD players will pause for seek time, which is less objectionable if the soundtrack doesn't have a noticeable glitch), and the whole thing is reduced in volume.

"Nina baked the cake, I added frosting" ;-)
This version now includes the empty AUDIO_TS directory needed for playback on some DVD players that Suzie Creamcheeze mentions in her review.

First I have to thank the uploader.
The six shorts work flawlessly, but the two extras seem to have no audio. Is anyone else experiencing the same problem?
Regards from Italy.

Subject: Add Empty AUDIO_TS directory to ISO Image
Subject: Add Empty AUDIO_TS directory to ISO Image
The ISO Image only has a VIDEO_TS directory. Many DVD players require an AUDIO_TS directory, even if it is empty, in order to play the DVD. I copied the VIDEO_TS directory from the ISO image to a new directory, then (as root) added an AUDIO_TS directory, and used to K3B to burn a new DVD, which works fine with the TV+DVD player. The ISO image as supplied, did NOT work at all. You should redo the ISO image with an empty AUDIO_TS directory added to it, on the same directory level as VIDEO_TS. Thank-You for the DVD and the tutorial! (You may want to modify the tutorial to mention AUDIO_TS?) All the Best, Suzie Creamcheeze
